Hi Shashank_Gaur,

Have you visited London? I need your advise because I have a job interview in London next week. I will be in London for only 1 day, I'll be there in the morning and come back in the same day, just for only job interview. I'm holding only Thai passport, but now I'm living in Germany for 3 months on Schengen visa. I might go with the train Eurostar, do you need a visa when you travelled by train? I'm very concerned that I probably couldn't make it on time which I have read in UKBA website, the visa time process might take 3 weeks.

Thank you.

minniemoly: Shashank_Gaur has only posted this one time and has never returned to Fodors since doing so in Sept. last year. You would do better to start your own thread w/ your own questions.

And better yet, talking to the consulate . . .

The only place you can get a correct answer is at the British Embassy. Go there on Monday - with all of the necessary paperwork and talk to them. How you get into the UK doesn;t matter, nor the reason you are going, nor how long you will be there. If you need one - you do - and only they can tell you.

Riza_Lim - this is a travel board. People here are not part of any Embassy or Consulate and cannot answer any questions regarding your passport. You have to ask Embassy officials.
