I need to get from Charles De Gaulle Airport to Gare du Nord (To Lille)
Hello, My flight gets into Paris at 8am local time, and my train from Paris to Lille leaves from the Gare Du Nord station instead of from the one attached to CDG airport. Do you know the best way to get to Nord? I've seen that the RER Line B is mentioned on other sites.
Thanks,
Colin

The RER B will work well for you. The fare is 9.25€, tickets may be purchased at either one of the service windows or from the machines which will accept magnetic strip credit cards if you happen to be carrying one. If you arrive Terminal 2, follow the signs to the T2 station. If you arrive Terminal 1, take the free train shuttle to T1, about a 2 minute ride.
Once underway, the RER B takes about 35 minutes to reach Gare du Nord. I would allow at least 4 hours between scheduled CDG arrival and your train departure time.

If you need help with the RER B from CDG to Gare du Nord use the website www.transilien.com or www.vianavigo.com, as both of these sites have English language versions.

I am wondering why you didn't book a seat on the TGV from CDG directly to Lille? There are several trains to Lille from Termonal 2 at CDG and the trip is about 50 mins. Is there a specific reason you need to go into Paris?
