I can't post to an existing thread

I can't post to the artichoke thread. Is anyone else having a similar problem? This is a test to see whether I can post a new thread.

I had trouble posting on another thread a few minutes ago. My post never appeared so I had to re-post.

I tried several times, but my last message to the artichoke thread never did post. Let's see whether I can post to this thread about not being able to post to a thread.

It took me about 10 times of clicking on post reply for my response to the Artichoke thread to go through.

Hmmm. Maybe the Fodors editors hate anchovies so they've banned me from posting on food threads.

Have had to attempt several tries at posting before it "took." Glad to hear it wasn't just an editorial opinion of me!

It was about this time last night when posting became impossible, and then it started logging us out, and I found it impossible to log back in for quite a while. Apparently they're working on the site late at night?

I noticed that my thread about Scotland, and France disappeared. I looked it up by using my name to bring up all my posts, found it, and tried to add a post to it. It has not appeared, though the new reply has been added to the version I get clicking my screen name.

What gives?

I just checked, and my post was added, but the thread did not move up on the list.

Is a puzzlement ---

I've formed the habit of - after typing my reply - right-clicking to copy what I've just written so that I won't have to re-type it when the post fails to go through...

It reappeared, nukesafe. I was looking for it, too.
