There is a fine line between Peevish and a Rant. I imagine one Rants when Peevish~
I am so happy that I am not alone in my Peevishness .
SeaUrchin, it does sound like a tea party doesn't it ? How nice, how genteel, but it is actually about 4:30 here in NYC and I think it is time to move this thread into Cocktail Hour~
dln, honey, anyone calling themselves bunchargum has serious issues that are best left alone.
The Yankee straightened the cell phone thing out-I can just walk away when the time comes.
I agree about grocery carts and have managed to get around it by ordering everything on the phone.
(you may call me Princess Scarlett if you wish)
Degas, you got it honey! my new favorite words are Deed Restricted
RobDaddy , Kay and Gardyloo, I am so sorry that you are going through this painful time..I am happy to say that I am at this moment, between renovations and it is a GOOD feeling.
But just so you don't hate me, I am facing about a year of living among roofers, landscapers, tile guys and the like.
Unless it makes me just too Peevish for words and the Yankee realizes that a looong trip somewhere would be just the ticket~
OK, lets hear how your Thursday went/is going?? Feeling Peevish or Mighty Fine?

Scarlett dear:
I suppose I could say I am a little peevish that I am in Paris but have spent the day in the hotel room preparing for a meeting tomorrow instead of wandering around enjoying this wonderful city ... but I don't suppose I'd get a lot of sympathy. I probably don't deserve a lot of sympathy, as I am off to St. Paul de Vence for the weekend
Girly, re your problem with your cell phone supplier - that's unacceptable! Get copies of your bills, phone your supplier's competitors and challenge them to offer you a better deal and a new phone. It works in Canada and our market is nowhere near as competitive as yours.
Bookie - you sure do have an indomitable spirit and an extraordinary sense of humour!
regards .. Ger
