The photos my husband (dkubiak) took on our May trip to Small Towns in Germany & Austria is the featured album on today's Webshots! I'm busting out at the seams with pride. He's such a good photographer and it's nice that he is recognized in this way. This particular album has received over 30,000 hits on Webshots since it was posted in June!

Thanks, everyone! We've decided to go back to Germany next year along with a week in Switzerland based on the success of our trip in May.

We plan to revisit Bad Wimpfen with side trips to Heilbronn and Heidelburg as well as Wertheim near Wurzburg and Gengenbach im Schwarzwald. So, hopefully, there will be more pictures of small towns in Germany next year!

I preferred the 'Maui' trip pictures because there are some pictures of you both. It's nice to be able to put a name to the talent.

Thanks so much for your kind words. It's amazing how many people have sent David emails today after seeing his photos on Webshots. He's going to really enjoy reading all the wonderful comments from people all over the world!

I've always kidded him about being so meticulous (like, SLOW!) about his picture-taking. He just got a new digital camera before our trip in May and he says it really made a difference in the quality of the pictures. However, I think it's all natural talent! LOL!

I also enjoy going back and looking at all of our photos, but it gives me itchy feet -- time to plan another adventure!

Thanks so much for sharing the pictures from your trip. They really are stunning! The landscapes are perfect, color and composition. What kind of camera did he use? I'm sure that the new camera is great but it's the eye of the photographer that makes the picture!

Allison, it's a digital Canon Rebel. I know very little about cameras -- thank goodness David does! I remember that we got a really good deal on it though thru www.buy.com.
