Hubby Tagging Along on Business Trip to Bologna

I'm headed to Bologna on business travel later this month. My husband is going to join me for the last 4-5 days. Can anyone suggest an itinerary for such a short trip? Maybe a train to Venice, then what? We're after good food, art, and sightseeing. We'll fly home from where we end up. Thx!!

Go see Ravenna on a day trip and then go to Venice for the rest of your stay.

The Dolomites? Verona? Florence?

Lots of options ...

Just posted my Bologna trip report:

http://www.fodors.com/forums/threadselect.jsp?fid=2

I was in Bologna for 8 days - did day trips to Modena, Parma and Ravenna. You could go to Florence for the day. Maybe Bologna for a few days then Turin? Or maybe Genoa (which I visited a couple years ago and really enjoyed - and the pesto is superb)

Last spring we spent several days ih Bologna, then went to Venice for the rest of the short trip. We flew home from there.

Byrd, open the trip report and right click on the heading. Select "copy shortcut," then paste it in the post for the correct link.

Thank you, Budman.

Somehow I knew that just cut-and-pasting that link was too easy to be right

Lordy, I hope this is right. I'll be so embarassed if it's not.

No, that's just the link to all your posts if you click on your "name." Open up the post itself you want to link, then right click on the title of the post, then select copy the shortcut.

Thank you again, Budman.

I hope my children and grandchildren don't hear about this. They think they have taught Grandma to be "computer literate."

What a laugh.
