How to get to Rua Douradores from the Lisboa airport?
Hello -
Husband and I are nearing our trip and I'm now trying to make a list of instructions for our transpo.
From the Lisbon Portela airport, what is the best and most affordable way to get to Rua Douradores?
Also, given our limited 1.5 days in Lisbon, what is the best way to tacke this itinerary.
Carmo Convent
Castelo de Sao Jorge
Avenida de Libertade
Is there something else worth seeing for a quick stop?
Thanks a lot!

1. taxi (consider a majorated budget of 20 euros).
2. metro in Red line (the only serving the airport), swap to Green line in Alameda (direction Cais do Sodre) and leave in Baixa-Chiado in the heart of Lisbon. The right exit is in Rua do Cruxifixo (Baixa), the other is in Chiado Square, further up the hill. Metro ticket 1.40 euros plus the cost of the reusable physical ticket (around .50 euros).
3. Airport shuttle (sorry but I don't know details).

Convento do Carmo, Avendia Liberdade and Castelo de São Jorge are all within 15 minutes walk of Rua dos Douradores, PROVIDED you are hale and hearty.
Convento do Carmo can be accessed from the Baixa, where Rua dos Douradores is located, by using the Elevador Sta. Justa.
The Castelo de São Jorge is a bit more complicated if you are not up to climbing upstairs for more that a few steps.
The Aerobus shuttle departs from outside T1 at Lisbon Airport. Descend and Rossio and walk down towards Rua dos Douradores.
