I think the "who" are traveling to China in 2008. We are traveling to France and will enjoy those French mussels! Just hope the dollar will bounce back....heck, with fewer Americans, it is well worth it! Hope those "who" will enjoy their Peking Duck!

Canada_V, It's been a long time since you asked your question back in April - sorry I haven't answered sooner. Yes, we are a high school group travelling to France and Spain. We leave in 128 days. Already have the itinerary and dates chosen for the March 2009 trip to Egypt - only 499 days until take-off for Cairo. We need to plan far enough in advance to get school board approval and allow about 18 months for students to raise the cash necessary to foot the bill.
I haven't asked what our tickets cost (we fly KLM), but our package price is about $3400 per student. This gives us 15 days in Europe with all meals, accommodations, attractions and transportation included.

Hi! My husband and I are finally heading out on what was to be our 10th anniversary trip.(We just celebrated our 18th last month) We are heading to Paris the last week of April 2008. I've already obtained a copy of Frommer's Paris 2007 and now also have a Fodor's Paris 2008.
Any advice on what we should not miss? or what we should miss. Keep in mind that I have not been to Paris since I was 9 and my husband has never been.
We are on a reasonable??? budget but hope to see some of the off the beaten track sites as well as a trip to wine country.
I would love any feedback/suggestions that you might have.

Hi there Ca_knit
This may not be the right thread to get the general feedback you are looking for. I see you have another thread "April Getaway in Paris 2008". I am betting you are going to get some good answers there!
Enjoy!

I spent Easter week in Paris last year and at first we were worried about crowds. It *was* more crowded but this was also due to the fabulous weather, and it didn't keep us from doing the things we had planned to do. We plan on going the first week in April '08 again.

Just returned from a great 10 days in Paris. I am now adding my granddaughter's husband to join her on our 2 week April trip, and I have just finished putting together a month mid Sept - mid October. Will finish all air tickets shortly, except for my Sept/Oct. trip. Too early for those.
