How long in Siena?

We want to visit Siena this year on our Tuscan Holiday. We are short on time as we will spend most of our time in other areas. Should we allow one or two days for Siena?

Siena is an interesting city. I think if you are short of time one night would give you a good feel for it.

We were there for a week and really enjoyed it. Took some daytrips to San Gimignano and Pieza which were also great. Loved Siena--every meal we had there was delicious. Of course the fact that DD was at the Univ. there helped make it even better--she knew all the right places to go, but I don't think you'd be disappointed with 2 days.

One day would be enough, especially if you are pressed for time.

Hi K,

You can see the highlights in 1/2 day.

However. lot's of folks recommend an overnight.
