We took the tour a few years ago and I think I recall it lasting just about an hour, maybe a little longer. It probably depends on how many people ask questions at the end.
When my husband and I took it several years ago, it was just under two hours. Our guide was a wonderful seminarian--very informative and our group asked lots of questions.

it was fabulous!!! i would tell anyone that it is a MUST if you can get in. reservations are a must before you leave home!
Our Scavi Tour just this May. It lasted about 90 minutes. Our tour guide was a priest from New Jersey on a sort of sabbatical. He was wonderful and was very eager to answer any questions during and after the tour.
