How does one get to CDG when you need to be there at 4:50? Taxi only?

It's 27€ for a shared ride shuttle which is nothing at all like a taxi. Supershuttles private van service, similar to a taxi, is 99€. These numbers come from the website you provided tully.
At that time of the morning, few of us would want to be picked up even earlier so a shuttle service could drive around Paris picking up other passengers. The Noctilien bus would probably be faster at a fraction of the cost of Supershuttle.
Ultimately, artsnletters has found the best solution, leave later in the day.
