How do I get to Patras from Piraeus? Pls Help!
Hi Guys,
I need a little guidance on how I'm going to make my way to Patra from Piraeus Port? I will be arriving from Crete via ferry at 5.30am (I'm sure I wont arrive on time!)
Cheapest way would be good!
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Kristine

why do you need to go to Patra ?
If you are going to take a ferry to Italy, Superfast Ferries have a bus from Piraeus to Patra leaving at 9am.
Otherwise you should take bus number 420, which is connecting
the matro station of Piraeus with the KTEL Bus station in Kifissos, from where you can take the bus to Patra.
According to their website there are busses
at 06:30 ( except Sun) 07:15 08:00 08:30 ( express bus).
This is the fastest way to go to Patra from Pireaus.

The simplest is to grab a taxi to Kifisou bus station, then a bus direct to Patras, plenty daily,

Times down the side, days at the top, starting with Monday. The ones marked express are the non stop buses, therefore the quickest.

Thanks Clausar, I wasn't sure if the 420 started early enough as I couldn't access OASA site, but I've now managed to, so here's that timetable too,

I got a train from Athens to Corinth and spent a couple of hours both in the town and at the ruins. Then got a train to Patras. Had time to spare as my ferry was leaving late at night.
Would liked to have spent more time at Corinth.
Just mentioned in case you had time.
Had to get a bus to the ruins from Corinth City.
