Hotels within walking distance to Gordes town?

Hi All - Planning to stay in Gordes for 1-2 nights in a couple of weeks...Looking for a hotel within walking distance to Gordes town so that we don't have to worry about driving in the evening after a few glasses of wine...Any suggestions? I am looking into La Bastide du Gordes and it looks beautiful, but I am a bit concerned about some of the reviews it gets on tripadvisor - but it does seem to have an ideal location...

Any other suggestions of places within walking distance to Gordes town? Thanks all!

Hotel le Provencal is in the village proper, unless it has closed
http://www.le-provencal.fr

The Bastide is in the villages as far as I consider it, but if not, it's on the road between the parking lot and the center of the village. Other than those, I think the Mas de Romains and Le Gordos are the closest, and the Domaine de l'Enclos, about 1 km. The Mas de la Senancole is at Les Imberts, which isn't far, also. Le Gordos is right at the entrance of the village. http://www.hotel-le-gordos.com

I was thinking of saying at either the Domaine de l'Enclos or the Mas de la Senancole http://www.mas-de-la-senancole.com/ when I was thinking of Gordes, but ultimately stayed elsewhere.

We stayed at Mas de Romarin, I can highly recommend this hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful professional and the breakfasts were excellent. Nothing beats waking up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and supberb coffee . It was an easy walk into town and great spot for travelling to other towns.Try and have a meal at Clos de Gustave in Gordes , wonderful meal and service

Hi Rosie. We were at the Mas des Romarins at the same time and agree that it was a wonderful small hotel. My husband still talks about the great breakfasts.

Great views from the terrace overlooking Gordes and so easy to walk into town.

In 2005 we stayed in Hotel Les Romarins. I think it had one of the most incredible views. The lilacs along the hillside were in bloom. The village of Gordes lit its monuments at night while we had our wine on the terrace overlooking.

We too ate at the Clos Gustave (sp, mentioned above). We felt safe walking back at night because several people were out walking.

Our room seemed to be older. If you book, I would ask for one of their newer rooms. Yes, they were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Bastide several years ago. At the time it was wonderful and our room had incredible views. There was a parking area across from the hotel, not large but we were always able to find a spot.

Romarins was very good. We had their "special dinner" overlooking Gordes. AB FAB, just gorgeous.
