Anyone have the name of a good moderately priced hotel near Paddington Station?

google sussex gardens hotel and I'm sure you will find something. Sussex Gardens (the street) is a 5 minute walk south of Paddington.

We returned about a month ago from our trip and stayed at the Darling Hyde Park hotel on Sussex Gardens. It was small, but nice. If you stay there, make sure you are not facing the street. I'm not sure if it has A/C or not, so if you are going in summer, you might check that out first. We were there in April, so A/C wasn't a concern. We paid 85 GBP per night. Breakfast was included and was great!

I know you are asking about Paddington - but from your other thread you are heading on to France.

To me it makes more sense to stay near Waterloo station instead of Paddington so you don't have to cross London during the morning commute. The Travel Inn County Hall is walking distance to Waterloo . . .
