Hotels in Rome

We will be staying a few days in Rome after a cruise in October. Any suggestions on mid range priced hotels in Rome within walking distance to the Termini?

How much would a "mid range priced" hotel cost to you? And may I ask why it must be within walking distance of Termini?

There are quite a few budget or tourist level hotels within easy walking distance to the Termini. I know you said mid-range, but I don't know what that is in your mind.

The Orland Hotel has above average reviews on Trip Advisor: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...ome_Lazio.html

It also has good reviews on Go-Today.com: http://go-today.com/site_gtweb/hotel...d=7191&iType=0

I have never stayed there, so cannot give you firsthand info.

Go-Today.com, btw, is a good resource for air and hotel packages, and the Orlanda is one of their packages.

Keith and I stayed at the St. Regis Grand, which is a five-minute walk to Termini, when we were in Rome in September.

We payed $450 a night for our room. Is that mid-range for you?

Try Best Western Hotel Canada, 58 via Vicenza. Priced under 200 Euros, very nice rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, helpful staff. We've stayed there at least 20 times now and never had a bad experience.
