Hotels in Rome

We are trying to choose between the following hotels in Rome: 1) Hotel Barocco; 2) Hotel Scalinata di Spagna; 3) Hotel La Lumiere. Please comment if you have stayed in any.

I have only stayed in the Hotel Barocco and thought it was lovely, well-run and in a great location.

Seabrook: Hope you get additional replies.
We love the Hotel Modigliani, just up the street (Ave Purificacion) from the Barocco...a boutiquey type. It's our place to stay in Rome and have many times recommended it to family and friends. Rates at about 200 euros.

I stayed at Scalinata di Spagna a few yars ago. While we really liked the rooms and breakfast, having to climb the Spanish Stairs or walking up the long hill from the other side to get back to the hotel after a long day wore me out. If you are young and robust go for it.
