Hotels in London Covent Gardens

I am traveling to London in the summer and would like some help with hotels in Convent Gardens area. I was considering the Travelodge, does anyone have any information on this property or any others that they may have liked.

There is no "s"..it is Covent Garden (singular).

You may want to check on TripAdvisor in case there is a review of that aprticular hotel.

What kind of price range are you looking at? You can't do better than the Covent Garden Hotel, but it is quite expensive. Then there is the low budget Fielding's, kind of bare bones. Or are you looking for something between?

Gee, it must be catching. Drop the "s" from Fieldings as well. It's the Fielding Hotel.

Here's a website restricted to all things Covent Garden. You can browse the accomodation listings and link to pictures and information about the hotels. I can't say if it's the best place to book or not. But this is a website by the Covent Garden Life organization and the hotels are members -- so I'd think it is a good place to book.

We have stayed at the Fielding Hotel several times and intend to do so this May. The hotel is budget and clean. We find the location to be great since we love the Covent Garden area and the Theater Royal Drury Lane.

We stayed at One Aldwych and have recommended it lots since. A terrific hotel.

The Concierge is superb. A FodorsForum with legs!

Great part of London for restaurant foraging too.
