Need a Hotel Recommendation - London (Covent Garden)

I'm heading back to London and want to stay where I always find myself spending my time - Covent Garden. I would love some recommendations in the $300 - $400 range.
Thanks!!

I've heard good things about the Kingsway Hall Hotel and also Covent Garden Hotel use to have good reviews, but I really don't know if they are on your budget (I think they are) because I haven't look for the fares , are too much for my budget

Covent Garden Hotel is a good call - GREAT hotel - but booked. Kingsway I haven't heard of - I'll check it out.
Any others?

For Kinsway Hall or the Waldorf Hilton (both near Covent Garden) be sure to check londontown.com They sometimes offer amazing deals.

Thanks for the info.
Is there a smaller, more charming possibility other than the Hilton?

I love Eleven Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea - but it's not close to Covent Gardens. It's an old mansion that is now a boutique hotel. It has a "club" feeling to it and is very comfy. Does anyone know of a hotel with that kind of feeling in Covent Gardens?

I've never heard of a hotel that kind in Covent Garden, but there are not many hotels in Covent Garden itself. Maybe you should like to expand your zone a bit and look up in Bloomsbury, sounds more that you should be able to find something like that there..

Take a look at this one
http://www.montaguehotel.com/british_museum_hotel

I only have seen it from the outside but it looked like a private home and the location is great, Montague street is besides the British Museum.

I've stayed there. It was just ok. Unbelievably small rooms. Staff was great, but not a place I'd go back to.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. Maybe Soho? Anything there?

Have you looked at ALL the hotels on the Firmdale website (since their CG is booked)? I believe they also run the Soho Hotel.

What about the Thistle Trafalgar Square or the Thistle Bloomsbury or Radisson Mountbatten?

Take a look at the Marlborough Hotel in Bloomsbury - it's now part of the Radisson Edwardian group. I last stayed there about 6 or 7 years ago so I can't provide a current review. At the time it was quite nice. Pretty quick walk from there to Covent Garden.

The Kingsway Hall is a well-located plush joint; you can walk a few blocks over to Covent Garden, etc., etc. Very, very nice.

Stan..how MANY hotels do you want us to recommend before you get yourself off that dime?

Hazlitt's? You're getting farther and farther from Covent Garden with each post.

Hazlitt's was recommended by a friend. I like the old style, but I do think it's a bit out of the way. Following the recommendations here, I booked Kingsway Hall.
Thank you for all the input. This site is awesome
