hotels in florence
will be in florence for convention in june and need to find a charming romantic hotel for about $100/ night. am not a fan of large or chain hotels. any suggestions for restaurants and bars would be greatly appreciated too.

I think your prices are on the low side for charming, romantic and central in June. Try www.eurocheapo.com and remember $100 is only 81 Euro.

We stayed at Peterson Bed and Bed in Florence for only 65 Euros but I would be hard pressed to call it romantic or charming. It was certainly clean and comfortable and a great price. Ira, a frequent contributor to this site, recommended it.
