Andy,

I haven't stayed at this hotel, but I've read that they have great views. And in the book "Cheap Sleeps in Paris," it says-- "Hotel Parc St Severin has a wraparound terrace that "provides unequaled views of Notre Dame and Saint Severin Church (among others)"

No. 70 seems to be a private penthouse suite with its own elevator entrance.

To see this hotel -Hotel Parc St Severin, go to www.hotelboulevard.com and type in Parc as the keyword. It has pictures of this beautiful hotel.

Patricia

Congratualtions! You don't say how much you'd like to spend, so it is difficult to make recommendations. However, this topic comes up frequently on the board - try a search for "romantic paris" or "charm hotel paris."

For an intelligent answer you need to state you budget. There are so many hotels in Paris and areas you need to be more explicit in what you are looking for. Do a web search on Paris hotels and see what attracts you and then ask questions about specific hotels.

Andy
I have notes on Paris including some hotels; if you would like to see them, email me.
Per previous responses, if you do a Search here on Paris hotel honeymoon or Paris hotel romantic you will find previous suggestions.
Websites like
www.paris.org and
www.hotelboulevard.com have good hotel info, including comments from previous guests.
Also as suggested, give us some idea of your budget.

Andy
Soundproofing (double glazing) comes into play when a hotel faces onto a busy street and the street sounds, traffic, etc can be disturbing to light (or even not-so-light) sleepers. In hotels without double glazing, if they are on busy streets it is often recommended to ask for a room facing a backyard or courtyard.
Any hotels you become interested in
will often provide information about double-glazing, or you can check the
hotel-related websites, or your guidebook, or ask here.

Here are just a few that have been recommended on this forum
Port Royal, Muguet, Champs de Mars,
Grandes Ecoles.
As recommended, do a little research on the web, in a guidebook, or do a Search on this travel lounge for Paris hotel or even Paris Honeymoon and you will find many suggestions.
Once you've narrowed it down to a few, ask some more questions here.
