Hotel Valadon

I just received an email that Hotel Valadon in Paris has been sold. We have a reservation there in April and a lot of the draw there was the owners. I hope it continues to be a good place to stay.
Has anyone else anymore info about this?

I just read the owners also own the nearby Hotel du Cadran, which I think is a 4* hotel. I know a lot of people seem to like the Cadran, so I personally wouldn't worry about it.

There is a new review on TA for a recent stay and they raved about it.Seems it is even better than before with a full buffet breakfast now included at the Hotel Caldran.

Just wanted to mention that the Hotel Valadon very kindly refunded my 2 day prepaid reservation because I was not able to get there due to the volcano. I would like to stay there in July as we have rebooked our trip but since the new owners took over they have raised the rates guite a bit and no longer include breakfast in the price.I had a rate of 125euro incl breakfast and now it is 140 euro not incl breakfast for 3 nights. The individual rate is now 155 euro per night. So much for a bargain hotel I guess. What a shame as the people are VERY nice.It is just out of my price range now. I need suggestions for a budget hotel for 3 nights in July. I guess I need air cond now! Many places are already booked I'm afraid.Any help is appreciated. It was not fun to spend 3 days in the Cincinnati Airport.LOL!

I'm very surprised they don't have discounts for July, a lot of hotels do--especially if it is after Bastille day, not as much before that date.

I just checked their websites and they have plenty of specials for internet rates or 3 nights package, etc, at around 140 euro. Did you try the dates you want, as they have lots of deals other than the rack rate (and I used early July).

What dates are you going and how big a room do you need? I often go in July and always get discounts.
