Hotel suggestion in Bayeux, Normandy

My husband and I will be in Normandy in June and are interested in spending a couple of nights in the Bayeux area. Does anybody have a suggestion for a B&B or small hotel in the area?

Lion D'Or is very nice in Bayeux. If you search this forum on Bayeux hotels, you'll get hundreds of suggestions.

I always recommend Chateau de lignerolles very charming. Roel also does excellent D-day tours. Website is victorytours.com for both, you can veiw my pictures of the chateau at happytotravel.shutterfly.com

If you want cheap, clean, in town walking distance to things, car park, try the Hotel Bayeux. Large rooms.

We really liked the Lion D'Or, too. Our room was very nice, and the dining room is lovely (with good food).
