Hotel Select Rome

Has anyone ever stayed at the Hotel Select near Rome Termini, or know anyone that has. Reviews are from one extreme to the other. Thanks

I don't know this hotel but I was in Rome last week and stayed at Hotel Giglio Dell Opera on Via Principe Amedeo 14 which is on the oposite side of the train station from the Hotel Select. Only a few blocks from the station. The hotel was pretty nice and A/C worked (more than I can say for most places I stayed). It cost 83 Euro for 2 people including breakfast. There was a restaurant right next door which was very good with wood fired pizza oven. I really liked both.

That neighbourhood is OK, but you are far from most of the major tourist sites of Rome. Not a problem if you use the Metro or are able to walk up to 5 miles a day.

Thanks, Thin. We are very comfortable with the Metro and the bus system. Should not be a problem.
