Hotel Parlamento (Rome) elevator
I've read many reviews about the parlamento and it sounds great. There is availability for my time slot and I would like to book. However I am a little confused about the elevator and exactly where it goes.
My understanding is:
One flight of stairs up to elevator.
Elevator up four flights.
One more set of stairs to front desk.
Then what? Elevator to rooms above or are all rooms on same floor as front desk?
thanks...

I am not familiar with this specific hotel, but as with many other Italian hotels, the website makes it sound as if it is only on two floors (third and fourth) of a larger building possibly combined with other hotels or residences. If disability mean you really can't manage stairs, maybe you should call directly?

When will you be going to Rome? We stayed at Parlemento last November for 105 euros per night--five nights. We liked this hotel--nice staff, good breakfast, and a quiet room. There is another hotel in the building and there was construction going on down in the entry level. There were some steps to deal with but they were not a problem. A few rooms open onto a roof terrace. The location was good and we would stay there again.

We stayed at the Parlamento 4 years ago and there was construction in the entry area then. Can't believe it is still ongoing.
Having said that we did really like this small hotel - can't remember any elevator but we did have one of the rooms that opened onto the rooftop terrace.
The staff were very friendly and happy to serve you breakfast on the terrace if you wished.
This hotel has a very good central location and we had absolutely no complaints.

When we were there you walked up two short flights of stairs to the first floor landing. Caught the elevator. Then up a half flight to the lobby.
Our room was on the lobby floor. I believe the terrace was up one floor (by elevator).
Nice hotel, friendly staff.
