Hello
I am searching a pension or hotel in Munich center with reasonable price and safety surrounding .

I would like to know if the area of the central train station in Munich is a good choice for 2 days.

We have not stayed there yet, but for our trip in September we are staying at the Pension Lindner. We chose that based upon their reviews from numerous sites. Hopefully others on here can give you first hand suggestions

I only stayed in 3 hotels in Munich but would not advise in the neighbourhood of the HauptBanhof. Ugly.

I don't know how you define reasonable but we enjoyed our stay at the Platzl -- Dukey recommended, excellent location near pedestrian zone.
