Hotel Les Rives de Notre Dame (Paris)

I need to downscale a hotel stay this coming winter.
I think I received a very good quote from Les Rives de Notre Dame for a suprior queen room, top floor-200 euros including breakfast. I guess paying for the view is most of the cost.
I just want to know how it is to stay on the quai St. Michel and at this particular hotel. I've walked the quai for sure as it's right across the Seine leading to Notre Dame. But I have not stayed in any hotel there. I know it's a very very busy street.

So my question is: has anyone stayed at Les Rives de Notre Dame and can give a bit more detail on the hotel's location and the hotel itself especially how are the superior rooms?
I read a few old posts about the hotel but they weren't detailed.
Thanks!
Thanks.

We actually had reservations for this hotel in September; the price is reasonable, the rooms are large. But we finally decided to stay elsewhere based on a few comments about noise in the area. But if your room is on the top floor and you keep the windows closed, you shouldn't have a problem. It's supposed to be quite a nice hotel, and the view should be wonderful.

Underhill, thanks for your reply! I am glad to know the rooms are on the spacious side. I'm sure it will be freezing there when I go so I'm glad I don't need to open the window since noise is a problem.
Are there any other comments about this hotel?

I was wondering if the rooms at the Rives de Notre Dame are reportedly large then why are the TV's hanging from the walls? It looks unattractive.

I agree--I hate TVs on the wall. But I suppose the owners think it saves precious space, and at least it's better than having the TV on the minibar. I think.

I hope no one bashes me for disliking TV's hooked to the wall. Someone just took offense about the comment I made about the tiny sink pictured on Hotel Saint Germain's website.
