I love this hotel and have stayed in almost all of their rooms at one time or another in the past 2 or 3 years! It is very small--maybe 8 rooms altogether with 3 on the Grand Canal. The rooms are very large. The owners are very kind and helpful. There are some interesting murals on the ceilings and walls! Breakfast is served in your room.

I second Marty's comments (though alas, I was only there once!). The only caveat is that the rooms vary a lot in terms of the view; ours was a bit dark, while others had lots of light and full views of the canals. We didn't mind, because the room was so nice and spacious, but when we saw some of the other rooms being cleaned, we thought "next time we'll reserve early enough to get one of those...."<BR><BR>Liz

James, you should ask for one of the three canal rooms or the room to the left at the top of the stairs with the wall mural. It does not have a good view, but the room is large and the bathroom is tremendous! Another good thing is that if you come in by water taxi, they have their own landing so you arrive at the hotel!

There are several Leon Bianco hotels in different cities. Are you talking about the one in Venice?
