Depending on your budget, I stayed at Residence Retzova which are kind of apartment hotels rooms. They were excellent and we stayed for 2 nights with them.

We were there for our 20th and decided to stay at the Sieber hotel.
www.sieber.cz
It is away from the central tourist areas, but has a tube stop a few mins walk away.
When we arrived the all staff lined up and greeted us !
The room was lovely and we enjoyed it there.
Congrats
enjoy

I recommend the website www.athos.cz - - the equivalent of ("Italy's"
venere.com for browsing, locating, and checking rates and availability. We used this website with excellent service (they used to have "live" agents available for "chat" on ICQ, but alas, no more) to rent apartments, but they have extensive hotel listings as well.
Congratulations on your anniversary... and...
Best wishes,
Rex

If it is your anniversary, darling, you want to splurge and stay at the Four Seasons. It is close to everything. Elaine highly recommends it. You are going to make reservations at Restaurant David, aren't you? Not dining at David whilst in Praha would be a major faux pas, sweetie.
Balenciaga.
