Hotel in Paris - Montparnasse???
Wondering if anyone can recommend a hotel in the Montparnasse area.
It's only for one night while on an "extended" layover.
Looking for something kind of middle of the road or a bit better. Certainly don't need anything lavish, but don't want to stay at the Y either. ;-)
Thanks all,
Shane

Don't know your price, but I stayed at the Royal Hotel, Montparnasse at 212 Blvd. Raspail, last November. Very nice staff, very clean, loved the location. You have a short stay so I think you'd find the neighborhood enjoyable...lots of restaurants and cafes and a nice neighborhood feel to it. Our room was 140 euros.

Hi,
Here's another one to check out....
We stayed at Hotel Bleu Marine Montparnasse at 30-40 Rue du Commandant Mouchotte in July 06
Great breakfast included and our 'family room' was actually 2 adjoining rooms for about 200 euro. Doubles were cheaper.

Thanks again for the input. I ended up booking at Parc Saint Severin. Anyone know of it? Had good reviews on tripadvisor and reasonable price. It's not actually in Montparnasse, but in the Latin Quarter, I believe - if I'm remembering correctly. It's very, very near a church of the same name. Seems like a pretty convenient location.
