Hotel in Cesky Krumlov, have you stayed there ?

Bobthenavigator, In fact I am considering the Barbakan, The price of the room in June is $91. The Leonardo is more expensive, $110, but it is also the top recommended hotel on Tripadvisor. What are your ideas on these?
Also, did you take the raft/canoe trip while in Krumlov?

We stayed at a hotel on the square called the Golden Angel (or something like that). Of course, we went in October, so we didn't notice the air conditioning--or lack of. The hotel was nice, about 100E, breakfast was included, and we just parked the car and walked to everything we needed to.

Capmunn, I saw the Angel site and it is very nice. It is about the same price as Leonardo's, I have to look at them both. No air in either of them.
