stayed at the 3* Rialto the first time. Clean and comfortable. Not far from the Rablas.
Next time we had our daughter with us and we stayed further out at a Best Western. Location no good.
Next time we stayed overnight at the hotel at the train station which was
lovely and when we returned from touring, we stayed at a hotel on the Ramblas. I think it was called HotelPrincessa? It was supposed to be a 4* but was really tourist class. Best location though - I would stay there again.
So much choice!

We stayed at the Apsis Aranea last year. It's in the Eixample district and close to 2 subway lines. It's a fairly quiet neighbourhood near the Sagrada Familia and a 15-minute walk from Placa Catalunya.
Our rate for 2 nights in September was 65 Euros a night. The room was clean, spacious and modern.

We liked the Hotel Lleo very much--well located, large rooms, modern bathrooms, helpful front desk staff, in your price range. www.hotel-lleo.es
