Hotel des Marrioniers

I'd like opinions from those who've stayed at the Hotel des Marrioniers in 6eme. I usually stay in the 7th but want to stay in the St. Germain area for a change.

stayed there two years ago. We loved it. We had views of the tower of St. Germain (and the moon was full). in the lively 6th, a few steps from anything you can imagine... but set back from the street, with a peaceful courtyard. Tiny, jewelbox of a room.

I have stayed here twice and I like it. The room is very small, but so is every room I've ever stayed at in Paris. We also stayed in a back facing room with a view of the roof tops and St Germain church, it was so quiet that we were able to sleep with the window open all nite.

The hotel now has a website. The rooms and bathrooms appear to be well-maintained, possibly remodeled.

I used to love des Marronniers back in early 90ies, but think it has become overpriced for what you get, unless, as someone said, it has been renovated. The location is the greatest, and it is very charming, but the rooms and the bathrooms are (were?) very tiny.
