My neighbors are planning a trip to Italy in September and I am attempting to assist. I recall a thread here regarding a lovely small hotel/B&B near the Spanish Steps, but cannot find what I am looking for in a search. I recall that Fodorites raved, bathrooms were ensuite and prices were very reasonable. Does anyone know which place I am talking about? Any and all help is appreciated. I wish I could remember more. The Hotel Modigliani is NEAR the Spanish Steps, just off of the Via Sistina.

On a recent visit to Rome we stayed near the Spanish Steps at a B&B called Domus Frattina www.domusfrattina.com or [email protected] It is the top floor of a building and has two rooms with ensuite bathrooms. One room was a two bedded room and the other had a king size bed (larger bathroom). Breakfast was served on the private terrace. We had a wonderful experience and I would return in a heartbeat!!
