hospitality exchange

We're an italian family with two little children. In june we'll start our trip in the States. We're looking for a family that give us accomodation; we'll return your hospitality inviting you in Italy, when and how long you want. We live in the North Italy, in a nice seaside resort.
We live in a large country house where we can host a family of 5 persons.
Send us an e mail for any question about us and this hospitality exchange.
[email protected]

I wish I could do this, but only have a small apartment--to the top for others, good luck--

What a great idea! The message board should have an entire separate forum in which people can make these types of arrangements. I would take you all up on this offer but we only have a two bedroom house, which is undergoing MAJOR renovations. Besides, I bet Nashville isn't on their itinerary.

Jill, there are companies that help arrange home exchanges, that have been in business for decades, and are now web-based. Although most home exchanges are simultaneous, there are also hospitality exchanges like the one proposed above.

One of the largest and oldest companies is HomeLink. Potential exchangers can enter a special code for the type of mutual hospitality proposed by Martina.

Hi Martina,
There are several organizations that offer home and/or holiday exchange all over the world. As far as I know the older and more reliable is Servas.
Contact me for more details.
All the best,
Georgio.
