Planning a honeymoon Oct. 9, 2012 for 8 to 10 days. Looking for some relaxation and things to do. Thought of going to Barcelona and around that area or going to the south and then up to Barcelona.

Any suggestions for an itinerary?

I would look at Barcelona and San Sebastian---two of my favorites.

At that time of year, Seville and Granada.

What are your interests other than relaxation and things to do?

With 8-10 days for a honeymoon I'd focus on at most a couple of cities (and additional daytrips that you could play by ear).

Barcelona/San Sebastian and Sevilla/Granada are both excellent combinations - but very different. So it's difficult to recommend what fits for your honeymoon without knowing more about what you enjoy.

8 to 10 days isn't a whole lot of time for a honeymoon in Spain, especially in the Basque country and Catalunya.

When you say "relaxation", what are you referring to?
