Honeymoon Help!
I'm starting to plan my honeymoon for early next September. I want to get this just right so i have a very important question...Tahiti or the Greek Islands? We both love tropical destinations with adventurous excursion options. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi,
Greece is very arid. The temperature will be delightful and humidity very low. Coming from New England, Greece is not very green and there is a lot less vegetation. That being said, it is delightful. Great food and very relaxed. Also the beaches in Greece are great, but not the fine sand beaches that go on for miles that I asume are in Tahiti. Have a great time.

Do you love history? Value art/architecthure of the 'old world'? Want to be on a hut over the sea and snorkle among exotic fish?
In either country you could lay on the beach and be romantic, but when you're ready to sightsee, what 'gets' you?

Greece is by far the choice and particularly Faliraki Beach on Rhodes. We have been to Tahiti and could not wait to leave, nor could the crew on Air New Zealand flight who even hate to land there! There are no stretches of sand just shell beaches. The island is French so need I say more!

We were only in Bora Bora on Tahiti, but based on our experiences there, I wouldn't rush back. I found the beaches disappointing, and the food WAY overpriced, and very mediocre. On the other hand, although I haven't been, Greece looks really enticing...
