Honeymoon Help!!

Hi! Fi and I want to go to Scotland for honeymoon and are on a tight budget. We don't want to stay in hostels, but in b & b's or a flat. Can you give me any advice? Places to eat, sleep, party, things to do. I went to Edinburgh 14yrs ago and was only 14 so i didn't get to do much.
we will be traveling 9/28/03-10/12/03
also best recommendations on how to get there.(good deals) Thanks!!!!!!!

You might do better getting a response, if you put Scotland in the message header of your question. Re-post.
I stayed at 26 Abercromby place. It was FANTASTIC. It's huge and comfortable. And right in the middle of where you want to be. Go for it!

Hi,
One suggestion if you are on a tight budget, consider renting a cottage for 1 week of your trip and then B&Bs for the rest. I rented a cottage in Glencoe a few years ago which was wonderful. We paid about 250 pounds in June for a 3 bedroom property. Smaller properties are usually cheaper.
Re. how to get there, where are you travelling from?

Also try www.aboutscotland.com. We stayed in a self catering flat off the royal mile (7 St Marys) and it was absolutely wonderful (and relatively cheap!).

Happy Planning!

Grasshopper,
Can you tell me more about 26 Abercromby? What did you like? How were the accommodations, the service, the breakfast? Is the street noisy or more on the quiet side? We are considering it. Thanks.
