Holyhead and St Peter Port - easy to navigate on your own???
Hi again,
will be in both of the above ports in September. Is it necessary to take an organized tour, or can you get around on your own?
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure how many of the excusrions listed on their website are offered on your cruise, but i wouls suggest either the Caernarvon castle/Snowdonia trip or the one to Conway.
If you are adventurous then Llechwedd slate mines are worth a visit or the bike ride pub trip sounds fun. Anglesy is very different to mainland North Wales but easy for bike riding. Suoth Stack trip is spectacular but doesn't really give you a taste of Wales.
Bodnant gardens are better in the spring when the rhodoenrons are in flower.
You could get a train to Conway, but I think the tours probably give you more than doing it yourself. Much of the are needs a car (or bus) to get to it.
