Holy mass with Vienna Boys Choir
Can anyone advise how to get tickets to mass with the Vienna boys choir in the Hofburg Chapel at the Imperial Palace? The website I found is not in English . Thank you!

http://www.wsk.at/en is one place to start. You will be directed to another site to purchase tickets, wherein you'll have the option for English.
I hope this is helpful.

I just looked and saw a performance for 30 April in the Hofburgkapelle, the Mass in C, "Coronation." When you click on the far right symbol you are sent to a page where you can purchase tickets. Is this not what you are looking for?

For the life of me I cannot remember how or where I bought the tickets, but I think it was from a sight that markets various things in Vienna. I can just say that I will not do it again. In the service we attended in December 2015, the boys sang only two songs. You do not see them! The Chapel was crowded. We sat in a gallery above the main part of the chapel on hard, wooden chairs. You have to be there quite some time before the start of the service. All in all, I felt it was expensive for what they delivered. It was nice to think you are in the chapel used by the royal family, but I did not feel it was good use of our short time in beautiful Vienna. BUT: read reviews ... perhaps other people had a totally different experience!

I didn't buy tickets (I don't even remember tickets being for sale at that time, maybe 10 years ago or so?). I stood in the vestibule with a lot of others where there were 2 TV monitors, one focused on the Mass and the other on the boys. Communion was served there. At the end of the Mass, the boys did come down from the choir loft and perform from the altar (the last 2 songs if I recall correctly).

This is the website from which I bought our tickets for the mass this past December.

We went into the Vienna Boys' Choir mass knowing it was a mass and not a Vienna Boys' Choir performance. 1 of 4 of us is Catholic but everyone enjoyed the music of the mass. I really liked the practice session at the beginning. The chapel is a really pretty setting. After mass, the boys came out for two quick songs and a photo op. That's it. We enjoyed it and found it worthwhile. I can see why others would not.

What was the practice session? Did I miss something? Love listening to the choir, have seen a number of their performances here in the USA.
Just an Fyi... After mass, I had tickets to the Spanish Riding School performance, so you can do both on a Sunday morning with a little hustle to get to the SPS, if you are interested in that.. I think the SRS performance was around 11am.
