holland

have a potential opportunity to go to amsterdam for a few day first part of june this year. I have never been there, nor to belgium nor france. Wish advise regards exploring holland for 3 or more days; possibly going earlier and seeing paris and possibly bruge (spelling) in belgium. Wish what the members of the forum think. thanks, jdg

Hi! I'm going to Bruges and Amsterdam in April. I've been to Amsterdam before and read quite a bit, and I think three days is a nice amount of time to be there if you enjoy museums, canal boats, and exploring neighborhoods. Many day trips are possible too -- I'm planning one to Haarlem. Opinions on Bruges vary, from a day trip to three days, but I'm planning for three so I can absorb the atmosphere and bicycle around if the weather's nice.

3 days is enough for Amsterdam, and maybe one other place, assuming that is three full days, not arrival day/whole day/departure day.
What are you interested in seeing during your stay?
