Ooooh super! I'm watching the Early Show right now at 7:30-ish here on the West Coast. CAN'T WAIT to see those devilish little horns get chopped off! Thanks so much for the heads up.

I'm disappointed as well, but just glad that the other two crazy couples didn't get it. Adam and Rebecca drove me crazy, and Hayden was absolutely PSYCHO, expecially last night - I couldn't believe after the day they had that he still popped the question! Maybe they have a shot at it after all...
Anyways, I didn't want Freddy and Kendra to win, but I'm ok with it being them over the crazy ones. Yah, Kendra is extremely spoiled and ignorant, but they didn't fight as much, and they were both genuinely nice and concerned about other contestants at some points of the Race.
Still, I console myself with the fact that Kris and Jon got about 4 vacations, and i think there's $100,000 for second place, right?

Hayden almost out-Kendra'd Kendra last night. Sad end to a sad season. It's time to move on.

What exactly was it that Kendra said about Freddie proving that he's fit to give her babies or something?

Just watched the final four interviewed on CBS and the presentation of the check. Is there such a word as redisappointed? There sat Jon and Kris, this lovely, polite, well-adjusted couple among the misfits!

Some of the comments about individual's hideous behavior and the responses were priceless. For example, Kendra's excuse for her disgusting comments was that she had never seen such poverty and it distressed her terribly.

Hayden noted, when confronted with her repeated screaming episodes, that she didn't handle stress well.

Enjoyed witnessing the excision of the horns!

It's true my favorites are together now in Scottsdale and have four trips to look forward to, but it was depressing to see the check handed to the Princess and Unsteady Freddy.

Onward and upward as they say!

Aarrrgh. Freddy and Kendra winning was almost as bad as Flo and Zach a few seasons back. (yes, I'm addicted to this show). I was so mad I turned the channel as soon as I saw that they were the winners - I didn't see anything after. Glad to hear I missed Kendra's obnoxious comment about Freddy's being fit to give her children. The woman needs her lips sewn together.

I almost choked with disbelief when Aaron proposed to Hayden - though you've got to figure he must REALLY love her to propose after weeks of enduring her whining and tantrums.

Very disappointing ending, but who am I fooling - I'll be glued to the next season's premiere in 3 weeks.

But the key question is, who will be watching Jonathan and Victoria on a special episode of Dr. Phil next Tuesday night?

Darn, I'll be in Germany!

Hi all, first time to poste but I had been readingand laughing all along.
I am so sorry too that Kris and Jon didnt win,but I think they should had ask around about the flights a little bit more, every minute count at the end, they should sue the AA agent,it was a million dollars at stake.
Did anyone noticed Phil expression when Aaron proposed and he had to ask him why he thought she was right for him,I liked him until yesterday, she failed very badly yesterday because they had a very good chance, they were in first place most of the time during the race.
See you for the next one.

I just found it all very "ho hum". I actually watched Frontline on PBS instead of Amazing Race..it was much more interesting..however I did switch over to AR from time to time so I could keep track of what was going on and did see the finish. I'll of course watch the next one.

OK, we watched it twice on Direct TV (east and west coast broadcasts) and DH and I both heard Kendra say: "He is fit to HAVE my children."'!!!

What a frigging dingbat - her explanation for her "Let 'em eat cake" comments in Africa was pathetic, like the Race was the first time she realized there were less fortunate people in the world.

Am looking forward to the next one, which host Phil K. promised would be the best, and also the 4-people family group one that follows. Will not, however, watch that horrible Jonathan and Victoria on Dr. Phil!

Even worse, I think Kendra's actual words were that he was "worthy" to have her children.

The last Amazing Race also came down to an airline snafu, when the couple in last place arrived to the airport so late that they discovered the earlier flight the other two teams had booked would be delayed. They were able to book a later flight that actually arrived earlier.

In any case, Kris and John seemed to have more trouble finding the watertower in Chicago, and then a taxi. That is what really decided their fate. Too bad. They were my favorites, treating one another, all players, and everyone they met respectfully.

......I'm sooooo glad that crew have
finished their Race - I could not have
heard anymore " go, baby, go baby, go,
go, go......."

I'll give the AR another try in March
but I'm really hoping there will be
a few 'grown-ups' aboard........I know,
I know, I'm just a miserable old cow!

Wouldn't it be interesting to see a Fodorite version of Amazing Race? I can think of some people I'd love to team together.

Oh, Grasshopper, don't go there!

I want to be teamed with the woman who has to travel with her own sheets.

No, really, can't you see her whipping out her 400TC sheets to sleep on the concrete in front of some attraction that doesn't open til 9am?

While CBS attempted to play up the alleged airplane snafu, it did not cost Kris and Jon any time b/c they still got on the same El train to downtown Chicago as Freddy and Kendra. Kris even said they were on the train at one point. So the plane "mishap" did not cost them a thing. K&J's problem was not the train but wasting time in finding the water tower and a taxi cab (finding and directing cabs was one of thier weakness). Also if they were smart, they would of taken a cab to downtown b/c at 5:30 AM there is little traffic and could of beaten the Howard line into Chicago like collin and Christy did last season(but maybe they were stopped from cbs from doing that)

I am so glad to read that others felt as I did about Kendra and Freddy. I would have preferred Adam and Rebecca winning over them. I never want to hear the word baby ever again unless someone is with child. I think one word to describe Rebecca. Shallow.

Kris and Jon were my favorites to win as well. One word to describe them. Class.

"My guess is that Freddy and Kendra will blow through that million dollars so fast that it won't matter that they won it."

dln, you've got it pegged.

I'm sorry but I think Kendra is about the hottest babe they've ever had on AR. I'd put up with all her faults just to see her in those red shorts again. Shallow, but hell, I'm a guy! Besides, how much of this stuff do you REALLY believe is real?
