Hermitage exchange exhibition opens at the Prado and runs through March

Some 120 items, including Rembrandt and Caravaggio. Sounds great.

Wanderful, thanks for the heads-up. I won't be at the Prado (unfortunately) any time soon, but it's good to know that some treasures of the Hermitage will be accessible elsewhere. Thanks for sharing...

I am so glad I went. I don't know when I will make it to the Hermitage itself, so it was a stroke of luck to be able to see this now.

flygirl, Did you buy tickets in advance? How were the crowds? I'm going to be in Madrid just for a couple of days in early March and don't want to miss this!
