Help with the middle of Ireland itinerary pls

We are two women, one a bit older, back again to finish up our May trip to Ireland. Everyone here is so helpful, TIA. So far we have-

Flight into SNN and then out of DUB

Days 1,2,&3-SNN to Ashford castle-do the Cliffs of Moher, etc while there-on to Dromoland castle

This is the problem section-don't want to cram too much driving and too many sights in eventhough we love almost everything-history,ruins,shopping,nature,horses...
So- any suggestions here are welcome,
Day 4- one night in Killarney
Day 5- one night in Dingle
Day 6 & 7 - two nights in either Kilkenny or Kildare
Day 8 & 9 - two nights in Dublin.

Is this too much driving? There are too many sights in the SW area so we cut out Cork and of course Waterford since it shut down. Now we are debating over Killarney vs Kenmare- I know the whole debate is wild on that one; ) I want a doable drive on day 4 -how long from Dromoland to Killarney or should we go right to Dingle? As you can see the 4 days in the middle could easily be switched around-I feel Dingle is a must, would love to see Ross Castle, Rock of Cashel and the Stud farm. We want a slower pace so we decided on 2 nights in Dublin, take our time to get there, have a whole day to visit, and then we leave in the AM.
Thanks everyone again!

This is my personal opinion, but I think if you want to keep your first three days the same, and keep Kilkenny/Kildare, then you need to drop either Killarney or Dingle. Keeping Dingle would be my preference. If you arrive in Dingle one evening, drive the Slea Head loop the next day and then spend two hours at least in the car on the way to Killarney, where you wouldn't have time to see that much the next day before heading to Kilkenny/Kildare. That doesn't seem to jive with your desire for a slower pace.

thanks for your input- the first 3 days are actually not totally the same, we have accomodations in Ashford castle, hence the day trips from there and then down to Dromoland. Are you saying the middle 4 days needs to be either Killarney/Dingle vs Kilkenny/Kildare? Is there not enough time to do both properly? TIA

I'm basically saying that I think either Killarney or Dingle is worth two nights, and if you tried to do both while leaving the rest of your schedule the same, that would be too rushed for me. And I travel at a pretty good pace. (I didn't mean your first three days are the same as each other - just whether you were set on keeping them as you had described in your original post.)

So if *I* were planning your trip (which I'm not), I'd pick one, or take out a night somewhere else.

Hi...I just returned from the lovely isle of Green - and I hope you have reserved a SMALL CAR...and got PRemIUM insurance!!!!!!! Don't count on your insurance here to cover any damages - they don't. We had a minor accident and it was heck to pay -- it was awful! I hope your rental is NOT thru dooley rent a cars - because their GPS aren't worth a lick! If you have one here - see if you can set it for over there! If you're interested in more detais or some lovely pics I took - email me at [email protected] -- we had a great time - spend a week in Adare Manor then down to Dingle -- we road the train for an overnight to Dublin....you're flying out of Dub - you'll like that - but to drive to dublin - yikes!
Take Care - have fun!
