Just as a followup, I did cancel my reservations at the Hotel Cesar within a week given the concern on parking. Instead, I stayed two nights at the 2* Hotel Reves d'Ocre in Roussillon.
This was an excellent decision. I was in Bonnieux a bit and had forgotten the exact layout -- it would have been a long hilly walk from some parking lot to the Hotel Cesar and I would not have wanted to leave my luggage in my car for two days (if I had taken out a few small items).
The other hotel I stayed at, which was pretty decent, is the only one right in Roussillon other than the expensive Clos Glycine. And it is not right in the dead center, put down the hill just a bit just off the highway with free parking for customers right across the street in one of the city lots. SO it worked out very good for me as I was traveling alone. I could easily walk to/from some restaurants at night within about five minutes, and didn't have to worry about the parking.
