Help with European Recipe Measurements
I bought a wooden heart shaped cookie press in Switzerland this summer. The recipe that came with it calls for 1 EL. aniseed as one of the ingredients. Can anyone tell me what EL. is and its equivalent in teaspoons? Thanks.

Thank you All!! I have been unable to find this thread again until now. I am so impressed with the helpful information. <BR><BR>I used the aniseed this weekend to make pannetone and it didn't seem very strong. Maybe add some anise flavoring, too.<BR><BR>Thanks again.
