Help!

We are getting off of the MSC Armonia cruise ship on the morning of October 15th in Venice, and currently have a booked reservation for a 10:52 Cisalpina train frojm Venice to Bellinzona, Switzerland, arriving at 16:21 (4:21 PM). We have been invited to a family reunion that begins at 13:00 (1:00 PM)QUESTION #1: Can we use our existing reservation to change to an earlier train that leaves at 7:51 and arrives in Bellinzona at 12:32?

Question #2: Has anybody had experience with disembarking from a cruise ship in Venice? Time to the train station, transfer difficulties, etc? How much time is reasonable to alot to get from the ship to the train station?

You MIGHT be able to disembark before 0800 but that will depend upon whether or not the ship has been cleared by local authorities and the time that occurs.

Ships often actually arrive at their final destination several hours prior to the published arrival time. However, in my personal experience passengers have had to arrange early departures with the ship's personnel.
