Just found this site! My husband and I want to take the overnight train from Paris to Florence in May. lst time and we need advise. I tried to book a lst class sleeping car (?) on raileurope.com but they said it was too early to book. I read someone say that site was a ripoff anyway. I'm confused and time is marching on. Any advise is most appreciated

Buy your train travel when you arrive in Paris. Or check out some of the low cost air travel options - - though none actually fly directly Paris-Florence, as far as I know.<BR><BR>Maybe through London (to Pisa) - - but this is contorted.
