Help! Need Paris business hotel in the 1st

I usually stay at the Astor Saint Honore but it's booked for my upcoming trip at the end of the month. Any recommendations for a good business hotel (highspeed connections, business center, etc.) in the 1st (close to Place de la Madeleine). Would prefer to spend under US$500/night. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you can try the Westin Paris that used to be an Intercontinental Hotel. It's in the 1st.

Here are two that are close; Castille Paris, on rue Cambon, and Opera Richepanse, on Chev. de St-Geo..

I haven't stayed at Hotel Brighton (Rue de Rivoli) but I know they've undertaken extensive renovations in the last 4 years. It probably included wireless.

We stayed at the Westin Paris two weeks ago. It's a terrific location, and meets all your requirements.

We recently stayed at the Sofitel Le Faubourg, and loved it. Has the business services, and those comfortable Sofitel beds.

Thanks everyone. We've been looking at the Westin, so I think we'll try there.

I'm just back from Paris and can share a few things on the Westin.

1) The location is great if you like to walk. In good good place for most site seeing and some decent places to eat nearby.

2) The hotel is expensive (and I don't just mean the rooms). Breakfast runs from $35-50 per person. A pot of coffee or tea is 9 euros. Internet access is 25 euros per day.

3) I used SPG points to get our room. Upgraded to a deluxe room for 13,500 points per day (as opposed to 12,000 for a standard room). Got further upgraded a check-in to an executive suite (rack rate of 1400 euro per night). Nice and big... two rooms, walk in closet, nice bath, flat screen tv, etc.

You may want to look at Hotel Colbert which is not in the 1st, but a few blocks from it.
