Help me choose between two Paris appartments.
Hello!
I will be renting an apartment for 1 week in May. I've narrowed down possibilities to 2 appartments.
Solely based on location (both are in our price range and seem equally nice), which one is better for transportation and vie de quartier (we prefer being in less touristy areas)?
By the way, we will be arriving from C-De-Gaulle and will be taking a train probably from gare d'Austerlitz) :
apt 1 : On rue Truffaut, near Brochant station
apt 2 : On rue Dewet, near Nation station
Thanks for your input!

Thanks!
There is also one that I like on rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs near métro Vavin. This is a neighborhood that I am not familiar with. Too touristy?
ggnga, how were your dealings with the owner of the Dewet apartment?

well, I would have preferred being near Bochant, as I think the area around Nation is pretty dull, but it's just personal taste.
I would much prefer the Notre Dame des Champs area to either. No, there are not tons of tourists on that street, they don't get up that way that much (which I like, as I usually stay near there).
I would be much less afraid of dealing with an agency than an ndividual who is a total stranger and you have no idea whether they know how to run a business or not, or are even legit.
