Help...How do you book a train from Prague to Munich?!
We are wanting to travel from Prague to Munich by train in December but I don't know how to interpret the Czech website. The one I went to was
http://jizdnirady.idnes.cz/vlakyautobusy/spojeni/
but I can't understand it (even in English!) and can't see where to actually make a booking. I there a better place to book this?
Anyone who can help or has experience here would be appreciated...Prague is going onto the "Too Hard" list shortly!!

I like to use the German rail website - www.bahn.de, then click on the upper right to select English. You can book Prague - Munich for 54 Euro.
Or, you can wait until you arrive in Prague and buy a ticket at the train station. There really isn't a need to buy a ticket before you depart form Oz.

Only in Prague railstation one time,
but if I had choice I would prefer to have ticket upon arrival. It will
be more expensive, don't know how much but you could see if you think
it is worth it. You need to know from which station you are departing. The Swiss website is good,www.sbb.ch/en/index.htm and also the German one mentioned to check out schedules, etc. If you check out www.budgeteuropetravel.com you can get their toll-free numbers, discuss your rail questions and also order your tickets. If you prefer to be driven from Prague to Munich I highly recommend www.mike-
chauffeur.cz

Me again, it is
www.mike-chauffeur.cz
Also, when you go to the rail
sites you may have to look around
and find place to click on to open in English, usually near the top.
Happy travels!!!!
